Event postponed until further notice due to the COVID-19 National Disaster

In light of developments over the weekend culminating in the President declaring a National Disaster, the SAAAD Executive has decided to postpone our Johannesburg Case Study Evening until further notice.

We will reschedule as soon as the health situation in South Africa allows for safe travel and social interaction once more.

We regret the short notice and apologise for any inconvenience to our delegates, and wish you all health and safety over the coming few months.

A JHB  case study evening with three dynamic speakers.

Each speaker has a unique special interest or speciality and will make this an interactive and educational evening to remember.

Biological Width - A Phenomenon of Prosthodontic Principles

An adequate understanding of the relationship between periodontal tissues and restorative dentistry is paramount to ensure adequate form, function, aesthetics and comfort of the dentition. While most clinicians are aware of this important relationship, uncertainty remains regarding specific concepts such as biologic width, its maintenance and applications of crown lengthening in cases of biologic width violation.
