Partial annodontia is a relative common phenomenon in South Africa. Mostly we see absent lateral incisors, which is relatively easy to treat with orthodontic preparation and placement of dental implants. With more teeth absent and retention of primary teeth well into adulthood, the aesthetic management becomes quite complicated. The spacing, size and positioning of teeth as well as the development of alveolar bone are the main areas of concern. These issues will be addressed with a complex case presentation
A case study showing contemporary aesthetic dental principals together with the latest digital technologies.
