Dr Noland Naidoo completed his specialist prosthodontic training at the University of the Witwatersrand ( with distinction) and his undergraduate training at the University of the Western Cape (UWC) where he also completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Implantology. He is currently in private prosthodontic practice, Howes Michael Naidoo Prosthodontic Practice Inc, in Morningside, Johannesburg, South Africa.
He is a board committee member of the International College of Prosthodontists (ICP). He is also an invited faculty member of the Future Leaders in Prosthodontics (FLiP). In addition to these, he is a member of The International Society for Maxillofacial Reconstruction (ISMR), the International Team of Implantologists (ITI), the Academy of Prosthodontists South Africa (APSA) and the South African Dental Association (SADA).
Dr Naidoo is a member of the Morningside Head and Neck Forum which is formed by a multitude of specialists and allied health workers who manage head and neck oncology. The treatment philosophy of his practice centres around quality of life for their patients, especially that of their Head and Neck Oncology patients. They have been pivotal in directing functional rehabilitation for their oncology patients and continue to strive for the improved management of these patients, which directly relates to their enhanced quality of life.
Dr Naidoo’s other passions include:
- endodontic treatment and retreatment;
- the management of tooth wear;
- the management of temporomandibular dysfunction;
- smile optimisation through appropriate techniques aimed at biological longevity.
