Dr Howard Gluckmandr howard gluckman

Interdisciplinary treatment planning for aesthetic outcomes with long term follow up
Dr Howard Gluckman is the Director of the Implant and Aesthetic Academy. Dedicated to sharing knowledge and sharpening the skills of other practitioners, Dr Gluckman is widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in the South African dental industry.
He has lectured extensively nationally and internationally. Dr Gluckman is on the experts’ panel of the international educational website Dental XP and is on the Dental XP scientific board

 

Dr Ridhwaan Haffajeedr ridhwaan haffajee

Case presentation: Full mouth rehabilitation in a world without gypsum and polyether 
In 2014 Dr Haffajee graduated with his Post Graduate Diploma in Dentistry (Implantology) also at UWC.  He has lectured both locally and abroad on various platforms in aspects ranging from implantology to dental Aesthetics. 
Currently, Ridhwaan is in private practice in Century City, Cape Town, while completing his thesis as part of his Prosthodontics Registrar program at UWC (final examinations completed in November 2019)

Dr Noland Naidoodr noland naidoo

The rehabilitation of mutilated dentitions: Management considerations for our ageing population
Dr Noland Naidoo completed his specialist prosthodontic training at the University of the Witwatersrand ( with distinction) and his undergraduate training at the University of the Western Cape (UWC) where he also completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Implantology. He is currently in private prosthodontic practice, Howes Michael Naidoo Prosthodontic Practice Inc, in Morningside, Johannesburg, South Africa.
He is a board committee member of the International College of Prosthodontists (ICP). He is also an invited faculty member of the Future Leaders in Prosthodontics (FLiP).  

 

Dr Rhoodie Garranadr rhoodie garanna

Emergence profile optimization using the Cervico System
Dr Garrana is a Periodontist, Implantologist, and Oral medicine Specialist with a special interest in Aesthetic Implant Surgery and Periodontal Plastic Surgery.
Dr Garrana completed his Undergraduate Dental Degree (BDS) and his two post-graduate Degrees (MSc) (MDent) at the University of the Witwatersrand. Dr Garrana has undergone advanced certification locally for laser-assisted Periodontal therapy as well as Guided Bone Regeneration and Sinus Floor Elevation at the University of Bern and is Internationally Certified and registered in The Novel Minimally invasive Pinhole Surgical Technique to correct Gum Recession taught in California, USA.

Dr Bradley Bredekampdr bradley bredenkamp

Aesthetics in the periodontal practice
Dr Bredekamp is one of South Africa’s leading periodontists, with more than 17 years as a practising specialist in periodontics and oral medicine. Dr Bredekamp has a passion for teaching and improving the dental community’s skillset toward improved patient care, and is a senior member of the Academy’s education team.
He is Co-founder of the KZN Implant study group. Director of the KZN ITI Study Club from 2007 to 2018. Presently an ITI (International Team of Implantologists) Fellow and an Executive Member of the South African Academy of Osseointegration (SAAO).

 

Dr Eubulus Timothydr eubulus timothy

Stress, COVID-19 and Bruxism
Dr Eubulus Timothy is a qualified dental surgeon with two Post Graduate Diplomas, one in Implantology, and another in Aesthetics. He now lectures at the University of the Western Cape in use of neuromodulators and dermal fillers for facial aesthetics in their post-graduate program.
Dr Timothy has a diploma in Marketing Management and a Diploma in Journalism from London. He is a member of the South African Associations of Cosmetic Doctors, Aesthetics and Anti-Aging Society of South Africa, World Society Interdisciplinary Anti-aging Medicine, and the South African Association of Aesthetic Dentists.
