SAAAD Events
Registration for the Events offered and run by us is made subject to the terms and conditions set out hereunder, in addition to being subject to the terms and conditions set out herein before. Please read them carefully and print a copy for future reference.
Terms and Conditions
To register for an Event, you will be required to provide certain information, including specific personal details. Some event venues have security protocols that require all attendees to provide their ID Numbers to access the venue. We are obliged to collect this information and provide it to the venue management so that you can access the venue and attend the event. This field will be included on the registration documents where applicable. By providing this information, you consent to us sharing it with the venue management.
It is not necessary to be a SAAAD Member to register online for an Event; however, if you choose to join SAAAD and become a registered member of the site, you will receive Member discounts, and the registration process for Events is expedited. In this case, you will first need to become a Member and choose a Username and Password. Please keep your Password private. SAAAD accepts no liability for any damages suffered or losses incurred from the use or misuse of your Password.
On the relevant Event page, please complete the registration form and push the Registration Confirmation button. Registration constitutes your acceptance and agreement to be bound by the Terms and Conditions of our Site, including the terms below regulating the registration for Events.
Payment and Confirmation of Registration
Should you register for an Event, your registration will only be confirmed once you have made payment of the amount payable as stipulated on the particular Event web page, either via Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) into the SAAAD bank account, the details of which will be provided on the website and registration email, and send us proof of payment; or via the Payfast secure online payments processing service. Payments by EFT must be made within 5 Days of your registration; otherwise, your registration will be cancelled.
- Delegates are personally responsible for course, conference and workshop fees.
- Delegates who have not paid for conferences, courses, forums, seminars, workshops, etc. will not be allowed to attend unless payment is received before the event's commencement.
- Cancellation fees will apply for events. Refunds for events / seminars will be strictly in accordance with the terms and conditions of that event.
Upon receipt of your online registration and proof of payment, your invoice and confirmation of registration will be processed and sent to you. If your billing information differs from your registration information and you are paying via EFT, please include your billing details in the email containing your proof of payment.
Attendance at the Events
You agree to arrive on time at the Event and bring along any writing materials or equipment you may require.
Cancellation of Events
SAAAD reserves the right to cancel the Event in the event of insufficient interest or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. We will inform you as soon as possible if any Event has to be cancelled for such reasons.
You may cancel your registration at any time within 15 (fifteen) days of the respective Event you have registered for. In this regard, you must inform us in writing within 15 (fifteen) days of the date of the Event in question that you wish to cancel your registration, and your full name and invoice/registration reference number must accompany this request.
Should you cancel your registration within less than 15 (fifteen) and more than 3 (three) days of the respective Event, you will be liable for 50% of the full Event Fee, unless other specific terms and conditions apply to the Event.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 3 (three) days before the event.
Variation
SAAAD reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change this Agreement from time to time without prior notice as it sees fit. Your continued use of the site will signify your acceptance of any adjustments to these terms and conditions. You are therefore advised to re-read this Agreement regularly.
These terms and conditions form part of the Agreement between the Client and us. Your accessing of this website and/or purchase of its Products or Services indicates your understanding, agreement to and acceptance of the Disclaimer Notice and the full Terms and Conditions contained herein. Your statutory Consumer Rights are unaffected.
